About
Hope Harbor is a 501(c) (3) tax-deductible organization committed to providing a safe transitional home for women and children who have been affected by domestic violence.
What is Domestic Violence (DV)?
DV is a pattern of behaviors that a person uses to control an intimate partner or family member through fear, coercion isolation and intimidation. DV is cyclical in nature, highly-organized and calculated. Over time, DV increases in both frequency and danger.
Hope Harbor pledges to create an environment in which a solid foundation for productive lives is realistic. Hope Harbor has completed extensive research regarding similar transitional homes, and is using successful and evidence-based practices.
